Yoggies® - natural calcium from the calcified seaweed Lithotamnium calcareum for an ideal balance of calcium and phosphorus in the dog's diet. Particularly suitable for dogs under stress who are fed raw food.
Usage: Natural calcium from the calcified seaweed Lithothamnium calcareum is particularly well suited to raw dog food. The ideal ratio of calcium to phosphorus in a dog's diet should be 1.4-2:1. An excess of calcium can have adverse effects, as can a deficiency of calcium. This natural food supplement is also suitable as a means of regulating gastric acid levels.
Lithotamnium Calcareum (calcified seaweed) can be given to dogs of all ages, including puppies from 3 months of age, and also to pregnant and lactating bitches.
Pay attention: 100 g Lithotamnium Calcareum contains approximately 28 g calcium (Ca) and 5 g magnesium (Mg). This product should be carefully dosed to balance (not exceed) the recommended dose of Ca in the dog's diet. Example to balance the Ca:P ratio per 1 kg of beef muscle: add approx. 5 g Lithotamnium Calcareum. If using bones or side dishes, inquire about the Ca content and reduce the amount of Lithotamnium Calcareum.

Pay attention:
This natural food supplement for dogs and cats, without chemicals and preservatives, can be served as a food supplement to canned foods or as a supplement to raw foods B.A.R.F. or in Yoggies oils. We recommend mixing the powder with food or supplements before feeding, as the powder is very fine and can easily be sucked up by the animal's snout.
When dosing, keep in mind that the ration should be balanced mainly on P (phosphorus) : Ca (calcium). Unnecessarily high doses of all the nutritional components can be as harmful as a lack of them. In order for the musculoskeletal system of a dog or cat to develop properly, especially when young, and above all in accordance with the laws of nature, you should not exceed the recommended doses of food, proteins, fats, phosphorus, calcium, vitamins, etc.
